The Swiss Center Vietnam supported Mila D’Opiz of Switzerland for their first exhibition in Vietnam in April 2012. The successful presentation attracted many interested Vietnamese guests to the booth at Cosmobeaute in HCMC. Mila’s products appear to have a great potential in Vietnam and the exhibition was the most recent step after a market research and individual presentations were made in Vietnam by the Swiss Center.

The SCV has developed over the last year knowledge for the Vietnamese bicycle production. Currently the Center is cooperation with three local production companies for the make of: mountain bikes, standard bicycle, children bikes, fun bikes. Early of this year we could manage and deliver a large order of fun bikes for the Korean market and another order will be delivered to Australia in the early summer 2012.

Soil stabilization additives are applied in road building and Vietnam is a high potential market. Several test projects have been carried out in Da Nang, Kontum and Hue. Currently several projects are being quoted and inquiries from Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos have been received. A good business development is being forecasted over the year 2012.
